Oil in the IC piping

Hey guy,
I was looking around the Greddy Type-S BOV last night and noticed that theres oil that has collected on the outlet of the BOV.. what the hell? i just finished the turbo install last week.. so i'm not sure if that is normal...

If there's oil on the the outlet of the BOV then doesn't that mean that oil is getting in through tthe TB? thats not good is it?
Do i have an oil leak or something in the turbo?

I am not too familiar with turbo set ups but do you have a filter on the crank case? I know the pressure created by SC you engine push oil out of the hose that connect the intake to the crank case. This could be you problem but then again I don't for sure but check it out. If you don't have just a K&N on the crank case you can get the part number from lundgren's site http://www.redisoft.com/integra/modifications.asp

ya i know what you talking about, but its not the manifold breather tube, i have a filter on that instead.. not sure where else it could be coming from...

umm if there's a OE line then yes, otherwise i haven't touched it..
The only thing i modified was the MAP sensor and the manifold breather tube.. the breather tube i replaced with a K&N breather filter..

Other than that i don't know wher ethe oil can be coming from other than the turbo itself?? ack..

wwould THAT much oil come from the stock oil seperator box? the oil has collected on the outlet of the BOV, if i stick my finger in there it comes out black and wet with oil.. not SOAPING wet, just moist and black...

hey G3-TEG,
how big of a oil drain tube do you have?
sometimes when you don't have a large enough
drain tube from the turbo, the oil in the turbo will linger around.. and basically get burned up by the turbo and spit out the exhaust or pushed back into the compression section of the turbo... make sure that you have a large enough drain tubing...

oil will definitely hurt your a/f ratio... so be careful... detonation is expected when you've got oil going into the cylinders.. oil is crude form of gas.... so it'll lower your octane of your fuel...

hmm ya i thought about that.. i have a 1/2" diameter braided line... some recommended i got with 3/4" but i opted for 1/2"...
what sizes are you guy running? and how would i know if that is the problem?
